AURORA ON THE BLACK SEA 黑海上的晨曦
|
The Black Sea though thick
As caviar daylight, as usual
Comes!
The boundless sky
Above the wings of our small Aleutian Airlines plane
Venus with motherly warmth
Sincerely heralds and watches over the
Dawn breaking in the human heart
Miraculously, the black water of night is parted by a line
Along the line, the dark ink gradually pales
Finally I see the faint white of dawn
Suddenly the wheel of the morning sun
leaps from the sea of clouds rises higher
The quiet Don then shakes off its oppressive nightmare
The coast watches the pale yellow and reddish orange
Edged in gold roll all the way to the horizon
Presaging a beautiful tomorrow for all mankind in the 21st
century!
